Description of Needs:

We are seeking candidates who can manage a team of junior analysts by delegating tasks, overseeing their progress, and ensuring productivity, while synthesizing and organizing their work for clear presentation to senior experts, and clients. The role involves managing complex engagements across various practice areas, including finance, valuation, labor, and large-scale data projects. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex tasks on the project, leveraging their seniority to tackle more intricate challenges. We are seeking individuals who also possess clear and effective communication skills, adept staff management, and careful project oversight.

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as economics, statistics, or finance, coupled with 2 to 4 years of experience, preferably in economic consulting or a related field. Proficiency in programming, particularly in SAS or Python, is essential. Additionally, a strong grasp of economic theory and modeling is highly desired.

Research Analysts and Associates

Peregrine Economics is looking for both recent college graduates and candidates with 1-4 years of relevant work experience who can provide research assistance and economic support on projects related to securities, competition, accounting, valuation, intellectual property, and labor. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and preferably a statistical programming language (e.g., SAS, STATA, Python). BA, Master’s, M.B.A, or Ph.D in a highly quantitative discipline (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Mathematics) is required.

Peregrine Economics is located in downtown Chicago and offers a hybrid work environment. In addition, we offer compensation in terms of a base salary and year-end bonus coupled with benefits including health, dental, and 401k.
